Sales Assistant (job code # SA093011)


Chunghwa Telecom Global, Inc. (DBA CHT Global) is looking for a customer-friendly, detailed-minded, self-motivated, positive and energetic personality to assist the efforts of the Sales Department. Candidates must have strong work ethics and excellent communication skills. Advancement to sales and sales manager is strongly encouraged.

Job Responsibilities:

Principal functions of the Sales Assistant role include:

  • Go-to support person for full-time Sales Managers.
  • Interact with new and existing customer by phone, email, and in-person.
  • Appointment scheduling.
  • Preparation of sales materials for client appointment.
  • Follow up with clients on their projects.
  • Process of inquiries, quotations, purchase orders, and data entry.
  • Interact with internal teams to meet the needs of the clients.
  • Maintain the utmost accuracy of all work performed.
  • Other administrative & sales support duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of network technologies and telecom products.
  • 1 year of prior sales assistant experience in telecom industry preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with emphasis on organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Self-motivated to continuously learn new technologies and products.
  • Strong skills and knowledge of computers, MS Office, and CRM system.
  • Demonstrates only the highest personal and ethical standards.
  • B.S. degree required.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese preferred

Telecommunication (Telecom) Sales Engineer (job code # SE022811)

Job Responsibilities:

Principal function of the Sales Engineering role include; designing network solutions, serve as the product subject matter technical expert, give technical and sales oriented customer presentations, understand competitors value propositions, prepare responses to formal RFP's.

  • Presenting product portfolio to customers.
  • Respond to requests for information, proposals, and point-by-point technical responses to potential customers.
  • Understand the value of our solution over the ones offered by our competitors.
  • Interact with internal teams to meet the needs of the customer.
  • Work with Marketing Team to prioritize customer and internal requirements.
  • Maintain the utmost accuracy of all documents that you produce; network drawings, equipment list, pricing, etc..
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Detailed knowledge of network technologies such as: MPLS VPN, IP networks, PBX, Cloud Computing, and collocation.
  • 1-3 Years of prior Sales Engineering/Technical Sales experience in telecom industry preferred.
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills, with emphasis on organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to travel to visit new and existing customers.
  • Self -motivated to continuously learn new technologies and products.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of computers & MS Office.
  • Demonstrates only the highest personal and ethical standards
  • B.S. degree required but advanced degree and or technical certification are a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese preferred
